Becoming a member
Eligibility
Membership is by invitation only. To be invited, you must do three actions:
Transferred in from another institution
A 3.5 or in the top 20% of transfer students in your first quarter enrolled at UW Bothell
Accepted having your information shared with third parties (this happens when you pay your tuition)
After Invitation
After you receive your invitation, there is a deadline to accept, as well as an opportunity to purchase merchandise.
Once you've accepted, attend induction, and then you're a member of Tau Sigma for life!

What if I don't get invited?
If you think this is in error, contact our advisor. If you didn't quite manage the GPA, we are still here to support you.
Do I have to pay the fee every year?
No. The fee is one time, and pays for a lifetime membership in Tau Sigma.
Do I have to maintain my 3.5+ GPA?
No, we are already proud of you for succeeding in your first quarter. If you are having troubles academically after your first quarter, contact us or the appropriate learning center on campus.
